Designing Responsive Physical Learning Environments to Promote Student Engagement and Learning
The BOS lab has received a research grant on the interaction between environment and student engagement and learning. The general goal is, through a series of lab experiments, to understand the mechanism of students’ engagement dynamics in various physical environments using computer vision and the efficiency of applying personal short-term environmental interventions to mitigate disengagement.
