Shichao Liu

Professor

Shichao Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering    and Fire Protection Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).  His research focuses on Building and Urban Environment, Human and Environmental  FactorsBuilding- OccupantsEnvironment Interaction, Modeling of Building  Environment and Energy, and Advanced Sensing and Operation of Sustainable and Healthy Buildings. Dr. Liu envisions his research promoting the wellbeing of both buildings (i.e., sustainability, resilience, and circularity) and occupants (i.e., comfort, health, and happiness) through multidisciplinary research.
